Gonubie, situated 15 km’s from East London takes pride in having achieved blue flag status at our local beach where the Gonubie River runs into the sea. Sightings of Humpback and Southern Right Whales making their way from Mozambique to the icy waters of the Antarctic and back again is a common occurrence in the Gonubie bay. The whales can be observed from the shore at one of the many coffee shops on offer, or from boat based viewing which is an unbelievable experience and many find it humbling. We are also privileged to have a bird sanctuary where swallows nest and the annual Swallow migration is a sight to behold.

4 well appointed rooms, 2 with shower and 2 with full bathroom. All equiped with TV, ceiling fans and airconditioning. Rooms have 2 seperate entrance’s, from/to, the house as well as the tranquil garden and entertainment area. Access can be gained from either the house main entrance or directly and privately from the garden area. |
